Service is a key element in deciding where to stay in a certain place and Cebu Grand Hotel has that. Staff are very helpful and will go the extra mile for you (at least, in our experience.)
Located in the heart of the city (Cebu Capitol Complex, North Escario St.), it is very near major malls (Ayala, Robinson, Rustan’s, SM, etc.) and tourism centers and accessible from the airport and the pier.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Rates start @ P3, 000/night good for 2 people and inclusive of buffet breakfast. Each room has its own phone, cable tv, private bathroom with bathtub, hot and cold shower. Rooms are cleaned everyday and the one that we had had a nice view of the city. Presidential suites had their own kitchenette and mini-bar.
I love their food as well, served at the hotel’s Cafe Lorenzo.
For those who love to have fun at night, there’s Gerardo’s bar equipped with a state-of -the-art sound system for your listening pleasure.
If you and you’re friends prefer to sing your hearts out, you can arrange for a videoke in the top floor near the outdoor swimming pool.
They also have business center, prayer room, gift shop, fitness gym, barber shop and beauty parlor.
I only wish they had bigger elevators tho 
All in all, it’s a comfortable stay in the city.
