We stayed 4 nights in this 4 stars hotel that sits in a central location with many attractions at walking distance and great views. It is quite comfortable but starting to get a bit old
We had a spacious(33 m2) Executive double room with a comfy kingbed, large opening windows and amazing views along the Sarawak river with lots of activity to watch. We enjoyed the flat TV,a desk with high speed internet access, the marble bathroom, the free magazines and mineral water.
We didn’t have our breakfast downstairs in the Waterfront restaurant very crowded but offering a huge variety of courses. We only had our continental in the quiet Executive lounge where you get as usual, free snacks, drinks, internet access..
We didn’t use the swimming pool(sunbeds, pool bar).
Following the advice of Kong(Almond72) about the relative poor quality of the food in Kuching,we had all our dinner in the Hilton Waterfront restaurant which offers also a great variety of food on its evening buffets:countless, tasty starters and desserts, fish and meat grilled “à la minute”,good vegetable but poor cheese:) and we weren’t bored by the iterative lobster of the buffet!
