This was a longer trekking day! Felt slow and sluggish but made it to our “Excellent View” hotel in Chommrong. Here was the last day of the lights festival and with all the indoor candles lit we thought for sure the place would burn down at dinner. It was fine but the bathroom did require going outside in the middle of the night and I was dive bombed by bats swooping down on each trip! Not fun when ½ asleep!
