pSwiss citizen Bernard Edmond Junet, 69; British woman Dianne Serla Virks, 58; and German Carmen Dailn, 51, are believed to have been running a business on Koh Samui without work permits./p
pThe trio are believed to have worked for S.T. Owner Management, which is responsible for collecting payments for power, water and other utility bills from residents of the Santi Thani housing project in the Maenam area of Koh Samui./p
pThe three suspects have been longtime residents of the island, and are also suspected of working as property agents, selling residential units on the side. /p
pHowever, despite police Lieutenant Colonel Vatchaphong Praipan’s assurance that the police are investigating the trio, they were soon released from custody after paying a fine. /p
